Pre-Genetics Counseling Concentration (PGC) With A Guaranteed Interview
Students can choose to add an additional term of study and earn a concentration in Pre-Genetics Counseling. This concentration is intended to prepare graduates for careers in genetic counseling as well as strengthen their applications for acceptance into the highly competitive master of science in genetic counseling programs.
Students completing the PGC concentration and meet the admissions standards for the MSGC program, the applicant will be guaranteed an interview with the MSGC program admissions team.
Why a Pre-Genetics Counseling Concentration?
Scholarships Available
The MSHGG Merit Scholarship is available to incoming students who have demonstrated academic achievement. The scholarship award is $1,500 and students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
